“AI Inferred” search finds pages by meaning using the embedding model (default nomic-embed-text). The index builds automatically in the background; rebuild it if you switch embedding models. If the model isn’t installed, AI search falls back to related-keyword matching.
When you change this you'll be asked whether to rewrite every existing summary or leave them and only apply it to new pages.
Off by default. When off, AutoTags are hidden everywhere — the ✦ chips on website cards and the AutoTags list under Categories. AutoTags are still generated in the background, so turning this back on shows them again.
Avoids reloading the model between pages during a backlog. Frees the model again when the queue empties.
History
Off (default). When on, every time a website is saved to NPI Tab Manager, the date, time, and browser are added to a permanent log - separate from the single "last accessed" already shown on each card. Turning this on sends a confirmation email to your account's email address.
Off (default). When on, NPI Tab Manager records every website you visit - not just ones you save - with date, time, and which browser, across every device where the extension is signed in to your account. Requires typed consent plus a one-time email confirmation before it takes effect.

Pages here resist the idle-timeout sweep - they're left open, never saved, never closed. Right-click any page in the browser to add one from there too. Use the pencil to edit a rule or the trash can to remove it.
